Meeting held 19 th July 2007

Main activities

The main theme of the meeting was discussing Environmental issues in the area that had been flagged in an earlier meeting.

Decisions made

A number of issues were raised regard Environmental issues in the Rowley Regis area.  Members felt strong about this issue and it was felt Mark Blades (Ground Care Operations Manager, Sandwell MBC) should attend the next meeting).  A forum member requested if it was possible Rowley Regis Agewell's local forum be moved to the morning of the 30 th August 2007.  This was so members of another group Springfield Young at Heart could also provide views.  The forum agreed.

Feedback from Agewell Sandwell Meeting

Points raised: A forum member feedback about the Sandwell Plan consultation which the forum had previously done.  A forum member also feedback about the older people champions roles being advertised.

Other issues discussed

The Rowley Regis CyberBus would be attending for forum members to view but unfortunately turned up late.
