What do point’s make? Prizes

What do point’s make? PrizesSandwell Primary Care Trust’s Healthy Passport scheme has been so successful that it is now going to be available across the whole borough.

The incentive scheme is aimed at the over 50’s in the borough, with health targets set in return for points which can be exchanged for prizes such as goodie bags and high street vouchers.

Deborah Davies, Agewell Manager said: “For many older people, the Healthy Passport scheme is a fantastic way to take those first steps towards a healthier lifestyle.

“If you’re over 50, living in Sandwell, and haven’t tried the scheme before, now is the chance to take part in all kinds of healthy activities and get points for doing so!

“Participants in the scheme can choose from a vast array of activities to turn their points into prizes such as attending gentle exercise classes, healthy walking schemes, healthy eating sessions, going for a regular dental check and even your benefits check.

“The Older People’s Champions will be launching the Healthy Passport scheme  at the following venues from 10.30am – 2.30pm unless stated otherwise

  • 15th July - Langley Lodge Community Centre, Langley High Street, Oldbury (10:30am-1:00pm)
