Oldbury Agewell Local Forum Report

Main activities / discussion

We held the first Agewell Oldbury Conference on the 20 th March 2008 at the Bethel Convention Centre. We saw around a performance called “I've Come to Read the Meter” performed by Staffordshire based Fizzog Theatre Company. The show took a humorous and informative look at issues such as safety in the home, medicines management and bogus callers. We also invited other organisations along to the event such as West Midlands Police who provided us with further information about the issues that we covered in the play.

Everyone enjoyed the play and we attracted a number of people along to the event who had not heard of Agewell previously.
