Main activities / discussion

We held our meeting this month in the Heritage Centre in Smethwick ( http://www.smethwick-heritage.co.uk ). We saw a DVD about life in Smethwick in the past and had an interesting discussion about the things we remembered about the area including Mitchell and Butlers and Chance Glassworks. It was enjoyable to do something a little bit different this month.

For anyone who is interested, the Smethwick Heritage Centre is open between 11am and 3pm, Wednesday to Saturday between March and mid-December.
