Annual General Meeting was held on 8th April 2011, at the Training & Development Centre in Oldbury. Edna Barker (Chair of Agewell) and Deb Davies (Agewell Manager) gave presentation on Agewell’s activities during the last twelve months.
Some of the work Agewell has been involved in during the last 12 months include:-
- PCT Consultations have included Primary Care Access, Medications Management, PCT Spending Priorities, Long Term Conditions Strategy, Living Well in Laterlife Strategy
- Department of Health – National Dementia Strategy
- Sandwell MBC – Adult Community Services – Modernisation of Older Peoples Services – Nursing Home Closures, Sandwell Prevention Strategy, Falls Prevention Strategy and Sandwell Dementia Strategy.
- Voluntary Sector – Sandwell Vision Strategy
