AGM's |
Agewell was involved at two AGM's on one day in October. We exhibited a stand at the Sandwell Visually Impaired AGM on the 29th October 2008. The event was also a useful networking opportunity with other exhibitors. What was apparent was the bulk of registered blind people are elderly and do not use Braille.
We also attended the Sandwell Advocacy AGM on the 29th October 2008. There were a number of interesting anonymous case studies of complex work done with vulnerable elderly people. There is certainly potential for collaboration with the Agewell Older People's Champions.
