The surprise venue was Downing Street as Agewell was asked by Better Government for Older People to send a number of representatives. There was a champagne reception with the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife. A real surprise for the members who opted to go on the mystery tour (we didn’t know where until the last minute).
